The Final Despedida of the Season!On Friday the last “Despedida” group of the season arrived, from the town of Albacete – not far away, and also in the Valencian Community. They were a group of 7 friends, and celebrating the final week of bachelorhood of the groom – the wedding is set for a week’s time!
Friday evening saw the group settle into their surroundings here at Villa Florencia, and after the hot work of bringing in all the food and provisions for the weekend, a well deserved swim in the pool was enjoyed by them all. An excursion to the go-karting circuit in Daimús followed in the early evening, before returning here for a quick shower and change before heading out for the rest of the night. They were collected by taxi to go to Playa de Gandía, where they enjoyed a meal at one of the restaurants, followed by a visit to CocoLoco, one of the best known dance clubs in the area.
Saturday morning was, understandably, a quieter time with the lads appearing around the pool during the course of the late morning and early afternoon, and the day was spent mainly relaxing in the garden, and of course swimming. A barbecue was then planned for the final meal of the day, and the rest of the night was spent at the villa with music playing and a general party atmosphere. It turned into a fairly late night for them again, so Sunday morning was also a fairly quiet time, but after a meal in the middle of the day and some more time in the gardens and pool, it was time to head back to Albacete in the afternoon, and for the groom to embark upon his last week as a single man! They all enjoyed themselves, and we certainly hope that they may return to us in the future – if not for another Despedida, then maybe for holidays or a weekend break with wives or girlfriends.
