Eight Minny Mouses and one Mighty Mouse !!!

The Girls from Guadalajara having a good time.

Despedida
On Friday evening a group of 9 girls arrived to celebrate a forthcoming wedding, accompanied by the male best friend from childhood of the future bride.  Like most of our groups of hen parties, they were super organised, and brought all their food with them in readiness for the barbecue that they had planned for the Friday night around the pool.  Mark prepared the fire for them, so all they had to do was grill the meat and enjoy a great evening together in the  warmth of the July night.  The music continued into  the small hours, and they had a wonderful party.
Saturday was spent swimming and relaxing around the pool – it was perfect weather – and then in the evening they went on the big night out of the weekend!  A limousine collected them for a drive around the town, and took them to a restaurant for a special meal, before moving on to the bars and then a dance club.  What made these girls stand out from the crowd though were the outfits they had prepared for themselves for the Saturday night….we waved good-bye to a limousine full of beautifully attired Minny Mouses (or should that be Minny Mice?!).  They looked absolutely great, and had the best time down in Playa de Gandía before returning to us at about daybreak!
Needless to say, Sunday morning was spent a little more quietly than the night before, and then all too soon it was time for them to return to their hometown of Guadalajara.  However, we have the feeling that they may be back – or at least some of them – as they said they had fallen in love with the place and wanted to return with husbands and boyfriends for holidays in the future.  They were a pleasure to have here as guests, so fingers crossed we see them again.
